What if...

Such a boring title for a blog post...I get it. But stick with me for a second.

All good ideas start with that phrase.

"What if..."

And I love it.

We're going to touch on lots of different "what if's" here, and I hope you find the topics interesting. We'll look at technology, business practices in schools, leadership concepts, advertising and marketing ideas, and as many practical tips as we can. More importantly, We'll always think about things that may not be possible yet, or that are actually possible and just too cool not to dig into a little more.

We'll feature partners and schools that have taken a "what if" and turned it into something amazing.

And...we'll make sure to keep the topics useful for you. Even if we nerd out sometimes and go down a tech rabbit hole, it will always be something that you might get great use from.

So, I'll start with the first "What if?"...with some context, of course.

I have worked in and with schools where the Admissions Office was a one-person shop. One person to handle all of the incoming inquiries, tours, applications, shadow visits, assessments, communications, financial aid, and about a million other things. Typically, in a one-person shop, the Admission person is also somehow in charge of the school's social media accounts.

I get it. You do what you can with what you have. It's school, we'll figure it out, right?

So, it got me thinking...

What if we could make it super easy for school professionals to create social media content without having to agonize over the keyboard, but keep the messaging on point, on brand, while utilizing key words and phrases from our strategic plan? What if they could create frameworks for marketing plans the same way? Or job postings? And what if we could do that with the press of a button?  Wouldn't that be cool?

So, we started doing some research. As a company that loves technology, but cares about schools, we wanted to make sure that we built was actually rooted in the ethos of schools.

It turns out that we were able to do just that.

We'll be telling that story VERY soon. But in the meantime, in the comments below, what are big "What if?" things for you and your school?
